Treat to Twenty

Yesterday was finally the day, the day i was looking forward to.

I turned 20 on 29th March, 2010. I say that again TWENTY.

As in Two Oh. Twenty.

As in 1080 week old, TWENTY.

As in approx 7300 days old.

Ohh my God, I am Twenty!!!! As in the twenty after 19!!! And i am going paranoid. (well, that is'nt hard to guess)

As a twenty year old, life revolves around the 400 something facebook friends, some 500 friends beyond the virtual world, an ipod and text machine that has 24*7 access to my ear and fingertips respectively, parties, gossip over numerous cups of coffee with the girls, guping down 2 ltr of coca-cola in few mins with the crazy roomate, the lillegal shots at the parties and a caulderon of sheer drama (read melodrama).

20 days ago, the prospect of turning twenty was fascinating, daunting, scary. Honestly, I was bubbling with joy when each day neared for me to turn 20. Everybody around me was 21, and i was still in my teens.  And today I am a day past 20. It feels good. really??? does it??

I honestly am confused for how should it feel for someone who occasionly behaves like a mother of two and mostly a teen of 12, to turn TWENTY, oh twenty??

Two Oh, Twenty is surely a wierd place to be, I feel sanely preposterous.

I guess i should leave behind my 'teenagy' past, get a hold over my life and walk past the "Ohh-I-am-a-Teen phase".

I am surely not the same girl as I was before 29th of march. But trust me, i am no better NOW.

I am just 20. TWENNTY. lol.. just twenty. I can still throw teenagy oops post-teenagy tantrums, sing loudly like i am six, read Enid Blyton, throw water baloons at the people, sniff the food that i have to eat, call names to those Bitches women i detest to the core of my heart, keep doodling on the walls.

There is just the same 2, as there was in the two or twelve.
Somethings never change and neither do some people.

And i am awaitng and grudgingly fighting with myself to be Thirty.  Thirty and Thriving!!!

Where are you from?

"Strange stuffs happen all around you, and only if you had that one moment to stop and notice it.....then whaatt , you'd be a BLOGGER then" :p Yesterday the age old question again popped up from an oh-so-handsome(wish he didn't have a girlfriend) guy sitting opposite to me in the Jamnagar-Surat Intercity Express, (Indian Railways should give me discount coupons now!), while his girlfriend sat beside him grumbling about the quality of air-conditioning in Indian trains and the lousy platform junk food (do not blame me, it was her! I love having bhajiyas at the baroda station when I am travelling with my roommate or someone else).               Alright, here i wander away again. That is my new 'beemaarri'. I start with something, i drift away to something and end up with something else which has nearly no connection with what i started with. My friend Arihant thinks I need to consult a ...

On writer's block and PMS.....

I have been staring at this screen for the last one hour and using the delete button more than I ever have. It's simply never happened before. Words never fail me. I usually have a million things to say and the words always flow through. Not these days. I tried more than once to write for the new year, but all in vain. I have 42 draft posts. (*ahhh....so its not that i didn't try, i just couldn't) I have a million things swimming in my head right now but the words just refuse to form. Maybe it's because I dont have one or two things to say. As I said, I have a million things. I am rambling now. Another first. So well, This post won't be the most brilliant thing ever. It's ok. I'll live. I'll settle for mediocrity, just this once. I don't know why but i have been dying to shoot out this since last few times. It is silly. I confess it is. But darn true. I just got a sms from a buddy(KV) asking coulnt i get a better theme to write on rel...

One cup Robin Sharma, Pleaase!

Obviously you can trust me when I say that I will post everyday albeit regularly with the same degree of trust when your boyfriend who has been cheating on you says "This was just one time, it was a mistake!! I plomish baby never again. Pleeeej trust me" The other day I was making cupcakes and a thought flew by. Wish the world had an Instant Cupcake Maker; you know the way we have Instant Coffee Maker Machine or the Soda-Maker Machine. Then you have books that could be turned into machines Robert Allen's One Minute Millionaire . One button, one minute AaannDD you are a freaking Millionaire. If the height of spirituality increases anymore then we ought to have a " Instant Robin Sharma Maker Machine ", button dabaya aur bas! You could get a cup full of instant spirituality, self discovery and even an FIR report on "Which monk sold whose Ferrari and where did he steal it from" for a certain MRP with Service Tax. Talk about spirituality and not me...
